Auction 2023 – A Success!
A huge thank you to everyone that made the Anarchist Mountain Silent Auction another year of success!
The 4-day online auction raised close to $10,000, 100% of which stays in the community.

Local Rider Participates in the Great Cycle Challenge
When it comes to fighting childhood cancer, Brenda Arychuk a resident of Anarchist Mountain, is planning to ride at least 125 kilometres and raise more than $1,000 during the month of August for The Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids) in support of its 8th annual Great Cycle Challenge Canada.
BBQ on the Mountain
On Saturday, July 8, the Anarchist Mountain community came together for the annual BBQ on the Mountain.
The food was plentiful and delicious, with prime roasted beef, brisket and veggie kabobs as the stars of the show and a rainbow of salads, sides and desserts made by the community. The turnout was high and the community spirit was exceptional.
Let’s Transform the AMFD Seacan!
Be part of this unique community project! Thanks to a Neighbourhood Small Grant, we’re going to paint a mural on the storage seacan at the AMFD firehall.
The project entails:
- Design planning meeting tentatively scheduled for Tuesday, July 25 @ 6:30 PM
- Preparation and painting will be scheduled for 2 to 3 mornings in August and September
Things to Do
There will be no fireworks in Osoyoos this year but there are still great times to be had! Head on down to take in the parade, food, music, events, sunshine, and of course, Canadian pride. Whatever you choose to do this Canada Day, be safe and have fun!

Community Trunk Sale
In weeks previous, one dozen residents cleaned their basements, and searched their storage sheds with anticipation of the Community Trunk Sale. These same residents later met on Saturday June 17th at the Summit Center parking lot in hopes of turning one man’s trash into another man’s treasure.
