Volunteering is a great way to meet people in your community and help make it what you want it to be! Current volunteer opportunities include:
FireSmart Committee Secretary
The Anarchist Mountain FireSmart Committee; which is a blend of community residents and Fire Fighters; is looking for volunteers to help make our community safer from wildfires. We currently need someone to take on the position of secretary; this would involve recording and preparing meeting minutes as well as assisting with tracking volunteer hours. We meet about every two months from spring to fall so this not a huge commitment but if you have more free time, then we also would appreciate your help in managing Wapiti pit.
