Kathleen and her husband John became residents of Anarchist Mountain the fall 2019 after completing the construction of their home as Owner/Builders. Originally from Manitoba, Kathleen and John have lived, worked and vacationed across Canada, but kept chasing the sun to the Osoyoos area.
Kathleen has a background in Architecture and Business and spent her career in the building industry. She has worked with in both the public and private sectors delivering design & construction projects and managing portfolios of physical assets. Building teams has been a focus of her work with the goal of improving processes and outcomes. Balancing work with play, Kathleen is an avid curler and has rediscovered her ski legs inspired by much snow and the close proximity to all the great ski resorts in the area.

Director – Secretary
Shirley and her husband John purchased their property on the mountain 13 years ago with the dream of building their retirement home there one day. Well that day has finally arrived! She has retired after 32 years with the Government of Alberta and is currently assisting her home builder husband with the build of their home on Mule Deer.
Shirley enjoys being in the outdoors and working on her wood crafting hobbies. She can’t wait to host her children and grandchild when they come to enjoy the beautiful sites and activities of this amazing community.
Hi! I am Christy Visser. We bought our property on Sasquatch in 2017 and moved into our new house in June 2021. Our family loves the outdoors and we are really enjoying our new mountain lifestyle! Zach is in grade 8 at Osoyoos Secondary School and Josh is in grade 6 at the Osoyoos Elementary School. Our daughter is in Colorado for school. Richard owns his own plumbing and heating business and the new construction on Anarchist keeps him very busy. I work casual as an x-ray tech. We are looking forward to getting together with our mountain neighbours!
