Thanks to everyone who so generously supported the Quilt Raffle Draw in 2023. $2,210.00 was raised to support the Anarchist Mountain Fire Rescue Society.
Those funds will be put to use buying new vehicle extrication hardware (i.e. Jaws of Life) that is stronger and faster than what the Anarchist Mountain Fire Department have available now.
The winner of the Winter Solstice quilt was Erin Ireland Iannella, the Assistant Chief of the Willowbrook Fire Department.
The winner of the Rainbow Ramble quilt, donated by the Osoyoos Quilt Guild, was Sandy Desrosiers from west of Osoyoos.
The Anarchist Mountain Quilters are already planning for the 2024 Quilt Raffle and more information will become available as the quilt is made.
