Wildfire Community Preparedness Day 2018
Our project this year is to pull our community together to practice the FireSmart principles on the Anarchist Mountain Fire Department Property. These efforts will raise awareness, help protect homes and help our community towards becoming FireSmart.
Where: Anarchist Mountain Fire Department Hall
When: Saturday, May 5th
The day will kick-off at 10:00 am with a BBQ at 12:30 and clean-up at 1:30
Activities
- FireSmart the fire department property (bring proper safety and yard equipment)
- Fire department open house
- Fire extinguisher training
- Barricade usage
- Tree falling practices
- Chain saw care
- FireSmart rental equipment display
- Home water sprinkler system display
