Blue, Super, Blood Moonlit Snow Shoe at Corbetts’ Place

Blue, Super, Blood Moonlit Snow Shoe at Corbetts’ Place  W5

Who?  All are invited!

What?  SnowShoe walk in the full moonlight through our meadows and forest.  One short loop for an easy time and a longer one for those who like a bit more challenge, followed by snacks (Pot Luck), beverages (BYOB), hot chocolate (Supplied) etc and maybe some tunes (bring your instruments).

Where?  Corbett’s Bar -1 Farm, 1400 Kelly Road.  Turn left on the second Sidley Mountain Road off Hwy 3 going east, travel 2km to “T” at Kelly Road, turn right, curve around to our place which is the second driveway.  4WD or AWD recommended!

When?  Wednesday, Jan 31, 2018 leaving our house at around 7:30.

Why?   This only happens once in a blue moon…but hey, we actually get two blue moons in 2018….Jan 31 and March 31!  In fact we get a super moon which should be 14% larger and 30% brighter than normal!  There will be a total eclipse of the moon where it will turn red, but it is about 5am that morning.  It is partially visible for us depending on cloud cover!

Notes:  If you’d like to bring an outdoor dog, feel free to do so.  Flashlights are okay for equipment problems, but are better left off during the walk.

If you have further questions or need equipment, please call Dean at 250-446-2420.  There is no need to RSVP.
