To all interested singers on the mountain:
I sent a notice out last June seeking interested singers for an a capella group up here on the Mountain. I got a bit of interest but thought I would check again as we decided to start in Sept rather than the summer (folks are just too busy in the summer). I am hoping the change in timing will secure a few more singers.
Here is the deal. Barbara Haskell has agreed to be our musical director. The cost for the entire term (14 weeks of 2 hour practices, 2 individual lessons with Barbara, the sheet music and all the extra time she must put in to pull this off) is $200. That works out to about $7.00 per hour. A great deal, in my opinion.
So if you are interested please get in touch and I will forward a questionnaire to you for some basic information. We want to start the first week of September if possible.
You do not have to have any musical training to be a part of this group, just a desire to participate and the ability to sing in key.
