Almighty Summit Estate – Blues night

Almighty Summit Estate – Great Night of Friendship

Wed Aug 23, Almighty Summit Estate owners Ulric Jeanne & spouse, hosted a wonderful evening of music. The Detroit / Toledo area band – The Big the Bad & the Blues performed to a packed house of about 60 – 70 neighbours.

These guys are the real deal when it comes to rocking blues music. They sure had the house rocking. They played some of their own material, then hit it out of the park with classics like “The Thrill is Gone” , “I Shot the Sherriff” and many other great tunes.

These cats are great musicians and real characters on stage. What fun! Everyone had a great time, and was impressed with what the owners of Almighty Summit Estate are creating at the top of the mountain.

Thanks for inviting area residents, guests and friends. It was a blast.

The Anarchist Mountain Community Society is planning to restart our concert series on November 18 (Johnny Johnston band from Castlegar) then on December 9, Aidan Mayes and Mandy Cole from Penticton return after a few years of absence from the Mountain. More details will follow about how to get tickets as we get closer to the dates.
