Anarchist Mountain residents want to once again thank the Anarchist Mountain Fire Dept. for their quick response to a car fire this past Monday.
Fire Chief Burk, Lieutenant Kevin Burk and Firefighter Erwin Burk were quick to be on the scene while 8 – 10 other volunteers responded to the call, arriving shortly. By the time Engine 111 arrived on the scene in under 10 minutes, the car was fully engulfed in flame. The fire threatened nearby forest cover, and the quick action of our Fire Dept. prevented a forest fire in our community.
BC Ambulance cared for the driver, and RCMP attended the scene.
