Jamie Soule Memorial Park Event!

Enjoy our Beautiful Memorial Park & Save the Clean-up Date – Sunday, August 7, 2022

The wonderful natural beauty of our Jamie Soule Memorial Park is the perfect place for quiet solitude or for gathering with friends and family to enjoy a coffee and conversation or a tasty picnic lunch. Sit and relax on the park benches overlooking the peaceful pond, perch on our locally constructed picnic tables or bring your own seating.

The park entrance is located at 105 Sasquatch Trail and has several areas for parking. A few notes:

  • There are Private Property signs to discourage park use by the general public.
  • All garbage must be packed out when you leave.
  • The closest washroom facilities are at the Highway 3 rest stop.
  • The picnic tables are still ‘curing’ and are currently sticky with sap. Bring a tablecloth or plastic to cover the table top and something to sit on unless you want a sticky bottom.
  • Consider that this is a memorial park and that there are property owners nearby, therefore please enjoy our park respectfully.
  • With all of the growth this spring, the park is looking a bit scruffy and could use some cleaning up for optimum enjoyment and fire safety.
  • A work party is planned for Sunday morning, August 7th, 2022. All helping hands (and tools) are welcome! Plan to bring a picnic lunch and visit with your neighbours. More details to come!
  • NO fires are permitted at this time

See you there!
