The Anarchist Mountain Fire Department (AMFD) and the Anarchist Mountain Fire Rescue Society (AMCS) with the help of the Anarchist Mountain Community Society (AMCS) website, announces the ninth annual Silent Auction.
The Silent Auction starts Thursday July 14, 2022 – 11:00am and ends Sunday July 17, 2022 – 4:00pm. All proceeds are donated to the Anarchist Mountain Fire Department.
You must be registered on the AMCS website amcsbc.ca in order to bid on an item. There is a Register button at the bottom of this page. After registering, and receiving a confirmation email, the webmaster will review and provide approval. Shortly thereafter, you must click on the link in the email, log into your account and add your name and address to ensure you receive the item(s) you may win on the auction. Any accounts without a full name will be deleted as a security precaution.
If you encounter any issues with registering, please send an email to webmaster@amcsbc.ca and we will add you to our user base.
Instructions to Place an Auction Bid:
Once you have registered and received your confirmation email and approval by the webmaster, you can select which of the items you would like to bid on. There is an area showing the minimum bid amount where you can enter your bid. You will receive an email informing you that you have the highest bid. If someone else bids higher, you will receive an email with a link to increase your bid.
Once the Auction is completed on July 17, we will send the winning party an invoice for the item they have purchased. The item can be paid directly from the invoice by credit card or EFT and arrangements for pick up or delivery of the item will be confirmed. You will have seven (7) days to make payment or the next highest bid will “Win” the item.

2019 One More Thing Merlot Cabernet Franc: The blend is 60% Merlot and 40% Cabernet Franc making it rich and round and oh-so-drinkable. The technical term for this wine is “yummy”.
We do love a good blend and so, we deliberately set out to buy some Black Sage Merlot to blend with our Cabernet Franc. The resulting wine has a nose of Okanagan fruit leading to a ripe palate of red and black fruit and a bit of earth. Pair with rich pasta, stews, and cheese.
2021 Really Rousanne: So here’s the thing…we Really like our Roussanne and each year, we tweak it a bit to try and find just what we are looking for. Last year was our favourite vintage until, of course, this one! All things apple on the nose with a zippy, zesty finish and a hint of the minerality that we like so much. A lemon meringue pie palate with a mineral finish. We love this wine with light fish and weighty summer salads. Shellfish anyone?
