Anarchist Mountain Fire Department August 1, 2021

Overnight, AMFD crew continued with patrol and monitoring for hot spots. Today, wind has been calm and there is light rain. Patrols and mop up continue on the Nk’Mip Fire’s southern perimeter. Heavy equipment continues with strengthening and widening guards on the southeast and eastern flanks.

Chief Grob, and other AMFD crew have literally been living at the hall for much of the last two weeks. Chief Grob is looking forward to a real bed again (don’t tell him we showed you his teddy bear!)
