Hello to everyone. The AMCS board of Directors will be hosting a Membership Appreciation Night/Membership Drive event in conjunction with a Wine and Food Pairing to be held March 18, 5pm – 7pm at the Summit Center. Everyone is invited, but we will need to sell tickets to this event to ensure adequate participation. Tickets will be $50.00 for non-members, and as a “Thank You” to those that are currently AMCS members in good standing, we will be offering tickets for $20.00 per person. Tickets can be purchased online HERE or you can email email@example.com if you would like to pay by cheque. There are only 60 tickets available, so purchase yours now to ensure your spot. There will also be a some tickets available to purchase at the door and we accept all major credit and debit cards. All current AMCS members in good standing, will also receive a promotional discount for wine purchased through the Great Estates Okanagan website and non-members will receive a $30.00 credit towards their membership fee if they decide to join our Society. We will also be holding a raffle for various items, exclusively for AMCS members. AMCS Directors will be present to answer any questions prospective members may have about the Society or the area in general. Below is a brief description of the event.
There will be 6 wine stations and each wine station will have a staff member at it pouring the wine and handing out the food and giving a little explanation as to why the two work so well together. Guests are free to move from station to station at their own pace, and usually take about 1.5-2 hours to complete, depending on how interested the guest is in chatting about the wine and how fast they eat and drink each pairing.
