On April 27th a video crew with BC FireSmart, as well as Global News and local newspaper reporters, made their way up the mountain to interview participants and take videos of various homes that exemplify the FireSmart program. They also viewed the Wapiti Pit yard refuse site, Summit Centre, Fire Department Wildfire training and the Open House BBQ at the firehall.
