Great Osoyoos Day of Adventure

On behalf of the Osoyoos Museum I would like to share with you some details about the Museum’s upcoming Great Osoyoos Day of Adventure which will be taking place on Sunday, June 10th. I’ve attached a couple of promotional posters, and here is a bit more information:

This event was held for the first time last summer, and was enjoyed by all who took part. This year’s event will be structured in a similar manner, but with a different route and many more high-quality prizes.

Osoyoos Home Hardware is again presenting three shopping sprees worth $350, $250 and $150 to the top three winners, plus there will be a valuable prize for the winners of the Scavenger Hunt. In addition there will be a table-full of door prizes donated by various local merchants. Oh yes, there will also be a fifty-fifty draw!

Leading up to the event, Museum volunteers will be selling two-dollar raffle tickets, with prizes of a Weber barbecue from Home Hardware, gift certificates for OK Tire service, and a gift certificate from Adega Winery. A limited number  of tickets are being sold, so your odds of winning are very good! The draw will be held at the Day of Adventure, but you need not be present to win.

At the event there will be live entertainmenta beer and wine garden hosted by Adega, and a meal of hamburgers, smokies and salads, catered by Troy’s Restaurant. Buy Low is providing dessert and non-alcoholic drinks.

Remember, you must pre-register due to the limited number of spots available, and you will be assigned a departure time which should ensure you don’t have others following you too closely.

The event is not a race, so you and your team can take your time, and even have a sip when you pause at the Adega Winery, which is one of the stops along the route.

This event is being prepared as a fund-raiser for our Museum, which is getting ready for the January 2020 move to its new location.
