We had another successful event on May 5th supported by 45 of our community members. The grounds around the fire hall were cleaned up and burned to support FireSmart practices and help maintain our recognition of being a FireSmart Community. Demonstration activities consisted of chainsaw maintenance, barricade gel application, yard maintenance rental equipment and home water sprinkler demonstrations.
Thanks to all who participated and provided demonstrations. Thanks also to the AMFD, AMCS and the FireSmart Committee for their continued support.
