Moonlight SnowShoe at Corbetts’ Place – Tues. Jan 2

Moonlight SnowShoe at Corbetts’ Place  W5

Who?  All are invited…especially those who want to work off their holiday overindulgence like me!

What?  SnowShoe walk in the full moonlight through our meadows and forest.  One short loop for an easy time and one longer for those who like a bit more challenge, followed by snacks (Pot Luck), beverages (BYOB), hot chocolate (Supplied) etc and maybe some tunes with Mark & Dean & any others from North of Sixty or who brings their instruments.

Where?  Corbett’s Place Bar -1 Farm 1400 Kelly Road.  Turn left on the second Sidley Mountain Road off Hwy 3 going east, travel 2km to “T” at Kelly Road, turn right, follow to our place which is the second driveway.  4WD or AWD recommended as it is a bit steep!

When?  Tuesday, Jan 2, 2018 at 7:30.  Moonrise is 5:30, but that is in flat Kelowna and our mountain will shade us until about 7:30.  The weather is supposed to be a bit cloudy, but the full moon will still make it bright enough to see.  It may be a bit chilly so dress in layers.

Why?  See all of the above.

Notes:  Our dog, Larry barks but is friendly when we are around.  If you’d like to bring an outdoor dog, feel free to do so.  Flashlights are okay to bring for equipment repairs and problems, but are better left off during the walk.

If you have further questions or need equipment, please call Dean at 250-446-2420.  There is no need to RSVP.
