Once again the residents in our community come through with a nice donation to our Fire Dept. This year Alice Zinowki’s – Market on the Mountain once again, donated some of the proceeds to the Fire Dept. The Silent Auction which was held during the annual BBQ, netted $4,900 for the Fire Dept, with the Community Society splitting its surplus funds from the Annual Picnic & BBQ to add another $300; for at total donation of $5,200 to our local Fire Dept. In the past four years the Community Society, through the work of the Silent Auction committee and other fund raising sources has donated more than $23,000 to the Anarchist Mountain Fire dept. The Community Society thanks everyone who made the 2017 Market on the Mountain, the Picnic & BBQ, and the Silent Auction such a wonderful success. We know that our Fire Fighters and the Anarchist Mountain Fire Dept. appreciate these donations which are put to good use protecting our community.
