This is a short reminder that the Fire Smart Preparedness day is happening this coming Saturday, at 10 am at the Fire Hall. FireSmart Day
There will be safety demonstrations on use of chain saws, felling trees, new sprinkler devices that can attach to your home etc.
One other worthwhile note, is the link to the attached video. This describes how propane tanks can become very dangerous during an involved fire.
This 2 minute video is worth watching, since many resident have propane tanks, some very close to their homes. If a propane tank is involved in a fire they are very dangerous.
