Happy New Year Everyone!
I hope you all enjoyed the fun and festivities of the season, and are ready for a great year ahead. If you’re thinking of getting back into fitness, or adding some activities to your weekly plan, come out and try Yoga or Pilates on the Mountain.
Yoga classes start up again on Tuesday January 3 at 9:30 am, and Pilates on Thursday January 5 at 9:30. All classes are held at the Summit Centre on Peregrine, and the drop-in fee is $10 per class, with a portion donated to the Anarchist Mountain Community Society.

Just a short note to say thanks to Suzy Williamson, our resident Yoga and Pilates instructor for her efforts in our community. Suzy has organized yoga and Pilates classes now for over a year at the Summit Centre. She has donated well over $500 to the Anarchist Mountain Community Society in the past year, as a share of her fees from her students. So the students themselves are contributing not only to their own health, but also to their community. Suzy offered these donations on her own initiative, and it truly is a generous gesture. Classes continue to be well attended and from all reports they are an enjoyable, fun activity here on the Mountain. To all that participate, we thank you for banding together in activities that are both fun and healthy for residents.
