This is just a reminder about the awesome Silent Auction and Community BBQ taking place on Saturday at the Summit Centre (Adjacent to the Rest Area on Hwy 3, next to Peregrine Dr.).
Everyone is welcome, including family and friends.
Silent Auction:
The Silent Auction committee has been busy gathering donations for the fundraiser for the Anarchist Mountain Fire Department. We are again overwhelmed with the generosity of merchants from Osoyoos, Oliver, Sidley and Penticton.
There is something for everyone at this auction……Items include lots of wine, ladies accessories, home decor, men’s stuff, gas powered weed trimmer, GPS, speakers, gift certificates for everything from spa/hair services, restaurants, home products/services, golf…..too numerous to mention! Payment for auction purchases will be by cash or cheque only at the silent auction
The silent auction starts at 3:30, to give attendees extra time to bid on items before the start of the BBQ. If you are unable to attend and would like to bid on something, contact a neighbour/friend to bid on your behalf. If you require an advance copy of the packages for this purpose, contact Candy at candymanders@gmail.com.

BBQ:
The party gets underway around 4:30 with live music from our local band “North of Sixty”. Taped music will also be provided by Nick Marty.
While we will have amazing BBQ beef, lovingly cooked by local rancher Art Harfman and our Fire Chief, Urs Grob, we ask you to bring a dish to share…salad, desert, etc. along with serving utensils. You can bring your own plates/cutlery, but paper and plastic will be supplied. You can bring our own beverages and soft drinks and water will be provided free of charge. Beef will be served around 5:30 pm.
A donation of $10 per adult person is requested with proceeds going to the Anarchist Mountain Fire Department.
Come and have fun, bring your family and friends, participate in the silent auction, and enjoy socializing with other community residents.
