I spoke to a rep at the Osoyoos branch of Canada Post. They said the boxes have been removed for replacement with new, more secure boxes. They don’t know when the new boxes will be in place.
They indicated that once the new boxes arrive, residents will have to visit the Osoyoos Post Office and show ID to receive new keys. Old keys should be discarded. One individual may pick up 2 sets of keys for a household.
