One of the first projects our new Fire Chief has asked for community support on tidying up around the Fire Hall. As you know the 28 or so people that are on the fire Dept. put in hundreds of hours of community service each year.
Fire Chief Urs Grob is inviting residents to join Dept members to tidy up around our community Fire Hall, next Monday (Aug 17) beginning at 6 PM. Similar to the work parties that we have held several times at the Summit Centre, we hope you can bring along your “weed whackers”, blowers, rakes, wheel barrows etc. and help us knock down the weeds, blow off the roadways, and generally make the Fire Hall more presentable for the whole community. We figure in a few hours the place will look really ship shape. See you then.
