The outcomes we are seeking for this event are:

  2. Hands on principles of FireSmarting your property
  3. Best practice recommendations for Yard Waste Burning
  4. Safe chainsaw practices
  5. Have some fun; meet new people and BBQ a smokie

For this event, we will require the tools that you would normally use to perform your own yard maintenance. This will include rakes, wheelbarrows, pruning equipment, weedwackers, brush trimmers and chainsaws. Safety is the most important thing of the day; please bring gloves and safety eye wear. If you are using power equipment bring hearing protection.

To get an idea of how many smokies we need to purchase, please respond to the poll below if you are planning on attending.
